Luke McGrath
Luke is studying at Curtin University where he is completing a double degree in politics & international relations and economics.
As a Mannkal scholar, Luke attended the Liberty and Society Conference in Sydney in April, 2008. He also attended the John Lee Dinner in August, 2008 and the Harold Clough Lecture in October, 2008.
In January, 2009 Luke travelled to Hong Kong to partake in a month long internship with the Lion Rock Institute as a part of his Mannkal scholarship. While there, Luke explored the Hong Kong Government’s plans to amend their internet censorship laws.
Luke was recently awarded the Kennard Freedom Prize and will be travelling to Turkey in August this year to attend the Property and Freedom Society Conference.
Luke recently became a Mannkal Fellow and, in this role, assists with Mannkal's promotion and research.
