Virginia Gogan
Virginia is currently studying a combined Laws/ Economics (majoring in Money & Banking and Corporate Finance) degree at the University of Western Australia. She will complete this degree in 2010.
In 2007, Virginia wrote an entry for the RBA Essay Competition, which was awarded second prize. See the following link to view this essay:

In 2008, Virginia wrote an entry for the Economic Scholars Essay Competition presented by ECOMS (UWA)and Mannkal, which concerned the effectiveness of Australian aid policies to Papua New Guinea. Virginia was awarded a runner-up prize for this essay.
Virginia also entered the 2009 Economic Scholars Essay Competition presented by ECOMS (UWA)and Mannkal, writing a paper entitled: "Why do intellectuals distrust individuals?" She was again awarded a runner-up prize.
