First Principles

Mannkal believes that:
  • The ideas of free enterprise, voluntary association, secure property rights, limited government, common law, subsidiarity and individual initiative are essential components for the future success of Australia;
  • The evolution of these ideas, beginning with the Magna Carta of 1215 and informed by renaissance and enlightenment thinkers, form part of our cultural heritage which exists within the broader tradition of Western Civilisation;
  • Guided by the insights of F. A. Hayek and other Austrian economists and classical liberals, the application of these ideas to local conditions are important for opportunity and prosperity.
"This country needs young people who believe in liberty and small government."
